Hi, I'm Ashley Stephenson, the artist behind the paintbrush!

 

I am a mixed media artist based out of the spunky, little town of Memphis, Tennessee, where I spend my days with my fiancé, 5-year-old son and fur-baby, Dallas, while finishing my degree in Marketing at the University of Memphis. I am so blessed that God has given me the gift of being an artist, and I love creating work that makes people smile!

For as long as I can remember, I have painted, drawn and created various types of art. I first started gifting pet portraits to family at the age of 15 and quickly realized I absolutely LOVED it because every project turned out SO cute! (It helps having pretty cute subjects, too!) I then started exploring different art mediums to create texture, and fell in love with the way I could make every portrait even more unique and special.

Pet Portraits by Ashley is what it is today because of support and love I have gotten from many different communities. I hope God's plan for me is to keep utilizing my gifts to create more pieces that touch hearts and portray happy moments of our truly beautiful world.
